Auction Terms & Conditions PLEASE READ FULL AUCTIONS TERMS AND CONDITIONS BEFORE BIDDING CONDITIONS OF THE SALE: The Bidder is responsible for reading and understanding all terms and conditions of the auction before bidding. By placing a bid you are entering a legal and binding contract and promise to pay for your purchases in a timely manner according to the terms of this agreement. Please do not bid unless you intend to pay. Non-paying bidders will be suspended, and unable to bid with Maplehurst Auctions. Buyers agree not to dispute any credit card charges and consent to buy at their bid price. Please note at time of registration if you are paying CASH, TAX EXEMPT, ETC. Documentation required for tax exempt status. Otherwise, credit card payment will be processed after bidding concludes for a total including hammer price, buyer's premium and tax. BUYER'S PREMIUM: All Bidders will be charged a 13% buyer's premium. Buyers must pay appropriate state and local sales taxes in addition to the buyer's premium and the sale price of the item(s)
TERMS OF THE SALE: All sales of items are sold AS IS and ALL SALES ARE FINAL. Maplehurst Auctions is not responsible for the condition of the items sold. No warranties or guarantees given on any item. Maplehurst Auctions is not responsible for damages or injuries that may result from using any item sold at auction. The Bidder is responsible for determining the condition, value, and authenticity of the item they are bidding on. Maplehurst Auctions is not responsible for any errors that can occur in the description of the items for auction. If you have questions about an item, please do not bid until they've been answered. Multi-consignor auctions may be sourced by a combination of private individuals, companies, organizations, and Maplehurst Auctions.
INTERNET DISCLAIMER: Maplehurst Auctions utilizes the HiBid platform for internet bidding. Bidders understand that no internet bidding platform is perfect. In the case of malfunctions or internet connectivity issues, Maplehurst Auctions will not be held responsible for any missed bids. All bidders who want to make certain that their bid is acknowledged, should an outage occur, may leave their max bid well before the final hammer drops on the items that their are bidding on.
PAYMENTS: Accepted payments are American Express, Discover, Master Card, Visa, debit cards and cash. Winning bidder will receive an invoice within 24 hours of the ending of the auction. Payment is due at pickup for cash paying customers within 48hrs of the auction closing. Credit card payments must be received and cleared before any item is picked up. Unpaid invoices will be charged to the credit card provided at 5pm the Saturday following the close of the auction, and a reminder email will be sent to those buyers to schedule a pickup.
LOCAL PICK-UP: All items can be picked up at 5910 Waxhaw Hwy Suite B, Mineral Springs NC 28108. Winning bidders will receive a sign-up email to schedule a time to pick up their items. Alternatively, winning bidders may pick up their items at any time during the open pick-up hours. If unable to pick up during those times, winning bidders must contact Maplehurst Auctions before the end of the auction, and we will work out a plan. Items left after the last day of pickups become the property of Maplehurst Auctions. These items may be sold again at a later date. No refunds will be given on these items.
NON-PAYMENT/ABANDONED POLICY All unpaid or unclaimed items will be considered abandoned and will become the property of Maplehurst Auctions. Unpaid items are items that were won at auction but not paid for. Unclaimed items are items that have been paid for but not picked up. NCAFL#10445
